Litigation Manager
Rose Gutierrez has worked in the legal field for over 25 years in various capacities. Her experience ranges from filing clerk to Litigation Manager. For the last 20 years she has overseen and managed litigation assistants and cases that are in active litigation. She has worked closely with the attorneys in the formulation and implementation of case strategy and has assisted at trial. Prior to her career in the legal field, Rose taught high school mathematics.
Rose holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from the University of California Los Angeles.
Rose was recognized and awarded the Presidential Award of Merit by the Consumer Attorneys of California in 2023 for her contributions in organizing the education program for the Legal Staff Support Group. In 2021, Rose received the Presidential Award by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
Since 2017 Rose has been an invited speaker on various subjects pertaining to various aspects of the litigation process. She has presented at seminars for the nation’s largest Plaintiff attorney advocacy organization, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles’ (CAALA) and at the Annual CAALA Attorneys Conference. She has also presented at the Annual Conference for the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), the political body for the Plaintiff’s attorney bar association in California.
Rose has published articles in California’s most widely circulated Plaintiff’s attorney’s magazine, The Advocate and in Thomson Reuters-Forum Magazine.
Rose served as Chair of the Legal Staff Support Group of CAALA in 2022 and 2023 and is currently serving as the Chair of the newly formed Legal Staff Support Group of CAOC whose main goal is to educate and empower its members. Rose believes in personal growth and education as a source of personal and professional empowerment and strives to share her knowledge with others in her field for the benefit of the clients and attorneys she supports.
In her personal time, Rose devotes her time to working out with a personal trainer and enjoys cooking, baking and wine. She also volunteers her time towards the promotion and advancement of her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta.
